25 weeks

Well, we have hit the 25 weeks mark. Hard to believe! Baby Shoe is growing and growing. Head to heels, Baby Shoe now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His/her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but it's beginning to exchange the long, lean look for some baby fat. As this happens, his or her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and Baby Shoe will start to look more and more like a newborn. Baby Shoe is also growing more hair — and if we could see it, we'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

This was taken as we headed out the door to celebrate our 4th anniversary! Time sure does fly. We wanted to try a new restaurant, so Matt took me to dinner at The Yellow Porch. Oh my goodness gracious! Absolutely delicious. This place has definitely become a new favorite! We had a such a fun night together and look forward to many more happy years.

Oh, and here's a little warning regarding future blogs...yesterday as we were getting ready for dinner, Matt was in one of those goofy moods (hard to believe, right?) and I happened to have my camera close by. So stay tuned in to see what the crazy guy was up to...
